But, Polaroid comes with a new model that will definitely attract some attention.
Even if the new Polaroid Snap Instant is not as good as the camera from a smartphone, it has some features that are really interesting. At the price of 100 US dollars, the new Polaroid Snap Instant is all about having fun and enjoying making pictures.
But why is this camera so special?
Because even if doesn’t come with a screen, Polaroid Snap Instant has the ability to instantly print the photos that are made, thanks to a 2×3-inch borderless print.
Polaroid Snap Instant is a 10-megapixel digital camera and once the picture is made, users will receive a print of their pic and they can stick it on a wall, on a notebook or give it to friends.
However, the camera will also save a digital copy of the picture, too, so users will be able to keep it in their phones, send it through mail or make a larger print. So, what Polaroid has tried to do, is creating a camera that is part-present, part-past, light and small enough so people can take it everywhere they are going.
This camera should be part of users’ lives and a partner at every next adventure, wedding or party. Polaroid Snap Instant doesn’t come with a screen, but it has a small pop-up viewfinder situated on the top that also turns the camera on. Once the camera has been turned on, in a second or two users can press the shutter and the picture has been printed.
To be added that on the top at the far left there is a button that will allow users to change between normal, vintage sepia, and white and black tone color palettes. Moreover, there is another button that will add the classic Polaroid border to the users’ print, and nearby there is 10-second self-timer for users to be able to get in the photo.
So, these are all the shooting options and controls situated on the camera. This means that there is no flash or zooming modes situated on this device.
The instructions and firmware download can easily be found by customers on the Polaroid’s site. The firmware update is very important, because this update will prevent the camera from accidentally printing pictures taken with the lens cap on.
The new Polaroid Snap Instant comes with a built-in rechargeable battery that can be charged via a Micro-USB port situated on the side. To be added that a wrist strap, a Micro-USB cable and magnetic lens are included in the package. Unfortunately, there is no paper included, meaning that users will have to buy some before they can print their first shot.
